Regarding the classification of storage containers

Since the media in these types of containers manufactured by our company contain hydrogen sulfide, the local inspection agency has requested the design team to specify the allowable limit for hydrogen sulfide levels. Please advise; thank you!
Whether it is a storage container or not, if H2S is present, a specified limit must be given.
It seems that storage containers don’t really play a significant role in determining the categories anymore. Equipment designed for handling hydrogen sulfide has specific requirements regarding materials and manufacturing, and the requirements set by the inspection agencies are quite normal
Since wet H2S involves a stress corrosion environment, it imposes certain special requirements on manufacturing inspections, and these should be clearly indicated.
