Catalytic condensate contains oil; it’s a complicated situation. All steam lines used for cleaning have been disconnected, as well as all steam pipelines connected to the oil circuit. The reboiler in the desorption tower was checked and found to be functioning normally
That’s the oil that was introduced into the pipeline at the beginning; you can replace it in large quantities and then it will be fine.
It involves connecting to the external steam pipeline network, and then draining the pipes that run from the back side of the steam system to the front side; each section is opened and checked to determine which part of the steam pipeline has oil mixed in it. Once the source is identified, the problem can be resolved.
Is it by connecting to the external steam pipeline network? Or by starting from the section of the pipeline behind the steam and working towards the front, opening each section one by one to check and determine which part of the steam pipeline has oil mixed in it
Catalytic oil bypass can occur easily, especially in heavy oil pumps or steam purge lines on the feed lines; it is recommended to inspect all points where steam is connected to the oil circuits
It must have sneaked in before; if you’re not lucky, it might even need to be replaced for a year or half a year
Have you checked the deoxygenated water system? Could it be that oil has entered the deionized water, causing steam to contain oil which then makes its way into the condensate system? Also, check what type of oil it is to determine the cause
It is highly likely that, during the purging of the heavy oil system by some other device, the steam pressure was lower than that of the oil, which led to oil mixing in with the steam. This oil then accumulated in the steam system, causing the condensate water to contain oil – and this is very dangerous. If the misted steam contains oil, or the fire-fighting steam does as well...
