The S-1702 unit used for treating slurry in SHELL’s gasification plant, Unit 17, has recently experienced serious water accumulation in the vapor-liquid separation tank (buffer tank) of the vacuum pump, which has caused the vacuum pump to become overloaded. Meanwhile, the negative pressure above the filter cloth is not sufficient to remove the filter cake. The problem has been resolved; it was checked that the buffer tank is not blocked, nor are there any blockages in its drainage pipes. I seek analysis and advice from experts.
It is recommended to replace the filter cloth! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Check whether the solenoid valve in the gas-liquid separation tank of the filter is operating properly, and whether the liquid replenishment volume to the vacuum pump is excessive

The operation of belt vacuum filters is generally similar; the moisture content of the fine sludge is above 50%. A few days ago I went to Nanjing Huisheng to take a look, and the horizontal screw centrifuges they use work well and require less space.
Adjust the timing of the reversing valve in the vacuum buffer tank based on the water content in the slag; there are two sets of electromagnetic timers for this purpose.
