Due to the anisotropy of the grains in non-ferrous metals, such as austenitic stainless steels, ultrasonic testing results in high ultrasonic attenuation, and interference from echoes other than those caused by defects makes it difficult to accurately identify defects. Therefore, X-ray inspection is preferred.
Similar to austenitic stainless steel, but austenite is colorless
It must be that UT is not easy to handle, as making a judgment is rather difficult.
