The wastewater treatment system has just been built and is ready to start operating. The process involves: equalization tank – hydrolysis tank – anaerobic tank – aerobic tank – sedimentation tank – sludge treatment system. A trial operation is about to begin, and inoculation and acclimatization are planned to be used. What are the specific precautions to take during startup and the acclimatization phase?
During the cultivation process, attention should be paid to the aeration effect for aerobic conditions. For the anaerobic section, not too much attention needs to be paid there; however, it’s better to have an intermediate facultative-fermentation tank between the anaerobic tank and the aerobic tank, as this will be beneficial for the aerobic tank by providing an additional buffer.
