Could you be more specific? I’ve never heard of this position before. What exactly does a Mechanical Reliability Engineer do?

Isn’t it just equipment maintenance? I don’t think that’s how it’s called in China
Lead the asset integrity program on-site, ensuring that relevant laws, regulations, and the company’s HSES standards are followed. Responsible for equipment integrity at the site, to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and the company’s HSES policies. Responsible for formulating strategies for preventive and corrective maintenance, and providing technical leadership in tasks such as routine inspections, repairs, troubleshooting, and improvements. Responsible for analyzing the causes of equipment failures and developing action plans based on those root causes. Monthly reports on the impact of equipment on the factory’s TA&PC activities, and oversees improvement projects. Participates in HAZOP studies and serves as the mechanical engineering specialist in such efforts. Implements reliability-based maintenance strategies, analyzes existing and new systems using FMEA, RCM, and PdM techniques, and optimizes preventive maintenance efforts. Communicates with the materials center, other factories, MTI, and other relevant parties to develop new suppliers, materials, and procedures for equipment made of graphite, enamel, plastic, or flake steel belts. Prepare technical requirements for new equipment purchases, develop inspection plans for suppliers, and carry out receipt inspections as well as final acceptance inspections. Prepare the technical specifications for new equipment purchases and the corresponding inspection plans, and implement these for incoming goods inspections or final acceptance checks. Review and update the factory’s spare parts plan, and work on identifying new suppliers. Prepare operational instructions for the equipment, design training programs, and continuously improve the skill levels of maintenance engineers and technicians through coaching and training
