The steam outlet flange of a container is marked with the letters c.L. I’m not sure what this means – is it an error in the drawings, or is there another explanation? This pipe connection is located at the top of the container; C probably refers to that pipe connection. What does L stand for? Please advise.
CL refers to American standard flanges; CLASS150 is equivalent to PN20, and CLASS300 is equivalent to PN50. For specific details, refer to HG20615
It can’t be representing two nozzles on the main view, right? (That is: Port C and Port L)
It should refer to the center line of the container; in other words, it means that the center line of the pipe opening is aligned with the center line of the equipment
Center Line: the center line. It should be a vertical container, right? Steam outlet pipe at the center of the top of the upper head.
You are absolutely correct; it is a vertical container. However, the centerline of that pipe opening is 250 mm away from the center of the equipment, so it shouldn’t refer to the centerline
Do you have a screenshot? I also think it’s an abbreviation for center line, C.L
