Pressure testing of pneumatic control valves

Do pneumatic control valves need to undergo pressure testing? I haven’t come into contact with it before; please advise
It should be done; the control valves, flow meters (including orifice plates), pressure gauges, and so on that are purchased by our factory are first sent to the instrumentation workshop, from where they are then picked up by the construction team. In some of our factory’s instrument workshops, there are \"experimental classes,\" but often these students are lazy... Especially when it comes to pressure gauges used in the field, they actually don’t conduct any measurements at all.
Generally, pressure tests and leakage tests should be conducted on control valves before installation.
