During the last two times I drove and used the steam pipe for air release, a large amount of white substance was emitted, and more of it appeared with each drive. Is this substance generated by ions? Logically, desalinated water should be very clean; back in the day, such things didn’t exist
Chloride ions: boiler water treatment fails to meet standards
The steam is not up to standard. Few drainings from the boiler or no drainage at all is due to the boiler water treatment chemicals.
It is caused by chloride ions; water quality testing and adjustments should be intensified
Insufficient frequency of boiler water drainage leads to steam entrainment. It’s mainly because the water treatment wasn’t done properly!
