What is the maximum ammonia concentration that can be present in chemical wastewater?

This post was last edited by *anpangpang on 2015-7-4 at 18:35. In our plant, the ammonia nitrogen level is kept below 25 mg/L; when it reaches 80 mg/L, the water is sent to the emergency tank.
Is it the ammonia nitrogen concentration or the ammonia concentration?
Below 50 ppm; it cannot be set too high, as the wastewater treatment plant will not approve it. Every company has metrics, right?
