What specific valve is it? What is the salt-to-acid ratio? Fluorinated linings can be used, as well as EPDM, rubber, etc. In the past, diaphragm valves with rubber linings were used for such media.
The acid concentration is around 30; I’m undecided whether to choose a pneumatic valve made of PP or one with a PP-lined steel body
Either steel-lined PO or steel-lined F46 can be chosen; it also depends on the temperature level.
I’m not sure what your temperature is. I work in a pharmaceutical factory where the working medium consists of high-temperature salts and acidic gases, with a temperature range of -20°C to 280°C. The valve body is made of HB alloy; what is the highest temperature you experience? If the requirement is low, a plain plastic ball valve will suffice, which helps save costs.
Use fluorocarbon-lined valves when pressure and temperature are not high; use Hastelloy B2 or B3 for high temperature and high pressure conditions
