The liquid sulfur tank in our company’s sulfur recovery unit is equipped with a vent extractor. The process engineers have reported that the flow rate of this extractor is not consistent. The designers say that there should be an internal orifice plate installed on the equipment, but the manufacturer claims to be unaware of such an orifice plate. Could someone who knows more about this please explain it to us? Thank you!
The vapor extractor on our liquid sulfur tank does not have a flow display.
