The current situation is as follows: the solenoid valve located on the deluge valve is activated by the system; during interlock, a 24V voltage is generated, the solenoid valve becomes energized, and the upper and lower chambers of the deluge valve are emptied, causing the deluge valve to open; Since this solenoid valve is not energized under normal conditions, it is impossible to determine whether the circuit is functioning properly. To change it so that it remains energized at all times, what modifications are required? What I’m considering is that the system’s current output includes a relay; after power is distributed by this relay, a normally closed contact is connected to the on-site solenoid valve, and this solenoid valve should be replaced with a two-position three-way solenoid valve. Are there any users of related rainwater valves and solenoids who would like to discuss this? Is it necessary to make changes, and are there any more convenient ways to achieve the desired result without replacing the equipment?
If you just want to test the circuit, can’t you use a 24V regulated power supply or signal generator?
There are also many solenoid valves that come with manual controls; you might want to take a look at those as well
I’m not sure what the fire safety regulations are, but from a fail-safe perspective, it needs to remain powered at all times.
