Please share your experiences regarding the clean and orderly management of the outlet of the slag skimmer in gasification furnaces.
We installed a dump truck washing system to improve the site environment.
Control the moisture content of the slag by separating it from the water; this way, the drier slag will not contaminate the environment. Dig ditches around the slag collection point leading to a sewage tank, so that any water mixed with slag that falls to the ground can be promptly flushed away. Tire washing equipment should be installed at the exit of the slag yard to wash the tires of vehicles before they leave, preventing the transport of slag. Use a closed-type slag carrier to prevent slag leakage. Next is the installation of slag conveyors to transport the slag directly to the slag processing plant, where it is then loaded onto vehicles for transport; this requires significant investment and high maintenance costs.
