The substance produced by the lightest components in tar processing is commonly referred to as light oil. Do the teachers here know what the main components of light oil are?
What tar are you referring to? Our workshop processes ethylene tar; after separation in a tower, the components at the top of the tower are sent for hydrogenation. The resulting products can be used as components for oil modification, and they contain the desired C9 aromatics with a high octane rating.
The main components of light oil are benzene, toluene, xylene, and styrene, which account for about 55%; naphthalene makes up about 5%, with some other heavier components as well
