Which view is correct regarding the operating temperature of RPTFE? What standard is used as the basis? Although PTFE has excellent overall properties, it has disadvantages such as low mechanical strength, a high linear expansion coefficient, poor wear resistance, poor creep resistance, and poor thermal conductivity. Range of use: ℃ -180 to +260. Operating temperature for RPTFE: -70 to +150℃. Polytetrafluoroethylene glass fiber (RPTFE) can be used in a temperature range of -250℃ to 250℃; among known plastic materials, it features a low friction coefficient and excellent corrosion resistance
PTFE: -50~+100, with a pressure rating of less than or equal to 16 PN; RPTFE: -200～+200, with a pressure rating of less than or equal to 40 PN. These values are taken from HG/T20606-2009 and NB/T47024-2012. For P75, the allowable pressure for PTFE is less than or equal to 40 PN, and the temperature range is -50~+100. Different standards and different operating conditions (such as medium, pressure, temperature, etc.) require different applicable ranges.
