Lighting types can be divided into: normal lighting, emergency lighting, duty lighting, security lighting, and obstacle lighting. Emergency lighting should be installed in all areas where normal lighting failing due to a malfunction could lead to serious accidents such as explosions, fires, and injuries, as well as in places prone to work-related accidents or where danger may arise during passage. Emergency lighting is divided into backup lighting and evacuation lighting. The former type of location should be equipped with lighting for equipment, while the latter type should be fitted with evacuation lighting. Emergency lighting utilizes a portion of the lights that can be controlled separately within the regular lighting system, or some or all of the lights in the emergency lighting system. Guard lighting and obstacle lighting can be installed according to the factory’s requirements.
