Is factory inspection mandatory?

A new product has been developed. According to national standards, there is one test item in the factory inspection that we are not able to carry out; we would need to purchase new equipment, and the cost involved is quite high. If we don’t conduct this test, could it affect audits such as ISO audits and result in their failure? If I send it to the quality inspection institute for a factory inspection once a year, can this replace conducting the factory inspection ourselves?
In accordance with Chapter II of the Quality Law of the People’s Republic of China, which deals with the supervision of product quality, Article 12 stipulates that products must pass quality inspections; substandard products shall not be passed off as qualified products.
It depends on the requirements set by national standards for this parameter – whether it involves type testing (once a year) or testing for each batch. Alternatively, it is possible to negotiate with the customer to conduct testing once a year and provide one report.
For inspection items, first determine whether it is a type inspection or a factory inspection. If it is a type inspection, regular submission for testing is acceptable. If it is a factory inspection, whether regular testing is required depends on the auditor at your end. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
