Are there any particular things to keep in mind when choosing instruments for this purpose? Which gauge would be a good choice? Differential pressure type or something else? Pressure: 8 MPa–17 MPa. A supercritical fluid (English: Supercritical fluid, SCF) is a state of matter in which, when the temperature and pressure exceed the critical values, the properties of gas and liquid become similar to each other, resulting in a fluid state that is uniform. Supercritical fluids possess compressibility similar to that of gases, allowing them to flow in a gaseous manner; at the same time, they have fluidity akin to that of liquids, with densities generally ranging from 0.1 to 1.0 g/ml. It has a very special property: it has a density similar to that of a liquid, but a viscosity similar to that of a gas. Moreover, temperature and pressure have a significant impact on its physical properties.
