It started snowing here today; it’s the first snowfall since winter began

In Jinan, it rained during the day today – it rained all day long. The forecast predicted moderate snowfall, but what fell were just small snowflakes that weren’t heavy or dense. It may not seem large, but there is quite a amount of snow on the ground. It was swept once in the morning and again in the afternoon; just spending the whole shift sweeping snow. The temperature forecast for tonight is -15 degrees, a level not seen here in over 20 years; many instruments will be affected by this low temperature tonight.
