Due to work requirements, (ˇˍˇ) I would like to learn more about the instrument configuration in atmospheric and vacuum distillation units What are the key instruments, such as fuel analyzers, pneumatic control valves, and liquid levels in the storage area? I hope to get help from fellow maritime professionals
In 2012, a set of equipment operating at atmospheric pressure without pressure reduction was used; it included online analyzers for light and heavy diesel fuel ranges, CEMS systems, zirconia sensors, wedge-type and target-type sensors, electromagnetic sensors, mass flow meters, float switches, internal floating ball level gauges, double-flange differential pressure level gauges, industrial cameras for heating furnaces, control valves, eccentric rotary valves, and shut-off valves.
The more specialized instruments that may be used in atmospheric and vacuum distillation units include: 1. Flow measurement for viscous media: wedge flow meters. 2. Liquid level measurement in vacuum towers: conventional differential pressure gauges, internal floating ball level gauges, and radioactive level gauges. 3. Eccentric rotary valves. 4. Analyzers: boiling point analyzers, dry point analyzers, flash point analyzers, and pour point analyzers. The rest are relatively standard instruments
