The main methanation reactor used to convert coal into natural gas via syngas generally requires a temperature of around 600°C; when the temperature exceeds this level, it reaches over 700°C. Moreover, it is a high-pressure reaction, and the reaction medium is a flammable and explosive gas, which imposes high requirements on the material used for the reactor. Can such materials be produced in China?

I have indeed heard of reactor linings, with heat-resistant bricks lining the interior like in gasification furnaces. Is this the case for both large and small reactors? It has a lining, and the heat resistance required is also quite high.
The reactors produced by Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Group Co., Ltd. in my country are quite good. Our methanation reactors use their technology; military-grade enterprises do provide reliable quality.
