The base slab and concrete are cast together and there are anchor bolts; now that the equipment needs to be upgraded, is it possible to do this without damaging the foundation? Use this foundation for installation once the new equipment arrives

In cases of corrosion of foundation bolts, etc., it is possible to break open the secondary grouting concrete as well as the concrete surrounding the bolts, replace the foundation bolts, and then re-grout once the equipment is in place. If there is a change in the installation location, an impact drill used for installing air conditioners can be used to drill new holes, and the foundation bolts can be installed anew according to the requirements. If there is a steel structure baseplate available, new fixing methods can be used to secure the equipment.
It is best to use a fixed baseplate; if the baseplate needs to be replaced, the secondary grouting layer must be removed, and after installation, grouting should be done again.
It depends on when the foundations were built. For the installations we saw in 1987, it was later decided that several tower-type container units needed to be upgraded (which has not yet been carried out). According to the design requirements, the foundations had to be replaced since the original ones no longer met the current regulatory standards.

If the base depth, dimensions, foot bolt strength, embedded cables, etc., all meet the requirements, then it can certainly be used. If the installation height of the new pump does not need to be considered too much, a channel steel frame can be used; the original foot bolts are tightened to the bottom surface of the channel steel frame, while the new pump is secured to the top surface of the channel steel frame using new foot bolts.
