Small chemical plants, or chemical plants that need to complete relevant procedures. When creating site layout plans, there is often a problem of insufficient safety distances. The approach suggested by the manager is: 1. Leave it unused, 2. Use a firewall. Regarding the issue of leaving space unused, the manager usually asks that the unused area be determined based on one span or two spans, so that the client can identify the exact location. My question is: what if the distance required for one span isn’t sufficient, but the distance for two spans is too much? For small factories with limited space, is it possible to leave the space unused according to the standard distances, rather than following the two-span rule? How do you say this?
