I am a graduate student at school, and my supervisor wants me to purchase some Alkyclean catalysts for use in reactions. Could anyone tell me through what channels I can get these catalysts?
I only know that the catalyst is a zeolite; the specific details are not clear. My supervisor told me to buy it directly and use it for experiments
You can contact the manufacturer to have them send you a sample; just explain the situation to them
This should be a catalyst specific to a proprietary process; one option is to purchase it from the patent holder, and another is to check if there are any manufacturers in China that use it and request some from them.
Yabao Company recently announced that its zeolite-based AlkyStar catalyst has produced high-quality alkylated oils. The world’s first alkylation plant using solid acid catalysts was successfully commissioned on August 18 at Zibo Haiyi Fine Chemical Co., Ltd., which is part of Shandong Hui Feng Petrochemical Group Co., Ltd. in China, with a processing capacity of 2,700 barrels per day. This set of solid acid alkylation units utilizes the AlkyClean process technology jointly developed by Yaabo Company, Sibie Company, and Neste Oil Group, representing a groundbreaking technological advancement.
Has the original poster managed to get the Alkyclean catalyst?
This is not easy to handle; it’s through special channels I guess
Solid acid alkylation catalysts contain Pt, and it is estimated that they cannot be obtained easily.
