Liquid sulfur has a very high melting point; to facilitate transportation and reduce its viscosity, the transport temperature is around 160 degrees. Compared to asphalt and fuel oils with high freezing points, there is no significant difference; the pipelines require steam tracing or double-walled jackets, and loading/unloading arms are used for connection to ships. For measurement, it depends on the requirements of both trading parties; a mass flow meter is recommended.
After the metal pipes are delivered to the dock, is there a loading platform at the edge of the dock? What type is this loading and unloading arm? Is it equipped with a jacket?
