I would like to ask everyone: can petroleum product storage companies have designated smoking areas in their office spaces, so that both on-site operators and office staff must smoke there? Why is it so difficult to set up a smoking room in our company? I’ve brought this up at least five times, and it’s the same with every new manager – they say it’s not allowed. Eventually, we came up with a compromise: instead of calling it a smoking room, we call it an employee lounge. We close the door when inspections take place, but it still feels odd.
