Questions about hydrogen production catalysts?

What is the difference between the catalysts in the hydrogenation reactor used in dry gas hydrogen production and those used in hydrogen purification? Does this catalyst used in hydrogen production have any minimum requirements regarding the sulfur content of the feedstock? Can it be reduced if the sulfur content is low?
Personally, I don’t see any difference, as the hydrogen content in the hydrogen production and addition process is around 15%, making reduction difficult to occur; moreover, there are basically no requirements regarding sulfur content in all feed gases
The difference is significant: the catalysts used for hydrogen production from dry gas do not have the same multiple functions as those used in hydrorefining, and the carriers for the active components are also different. The sulfur content in the raw materials used for hydrogen production should be as low as possible, around 5 PPM; if there is no sulfur at all, it will be reduced by hydrogen.
