Issues regarding single-point calibration of thermal mass flow meters

I have a question: today, during the single-point calibration of the thermal mass flow meter, I found that the instrument was powered on and there were no issues with the wiring, but the signal could not be transmitted back to the control room. What situations could there be?
Does the output signal of the flow meter match the input signal received by the instrument in the control room?
The remote output board is damaged, the output signal wires are connected in reverse, and the signal cable is broken
