My catalytic distillation column has severe coking at the bottom; how can this be resolved quickly? Is there any way to use a traditional Chinese medicine in this regard?

By adding scale inhibitors: 1. It effectively disperses the insoluble suspended particles inherent in the oil slurry itself (such as catalyst fines, which account for about 50% of the components that cause scaling), preventing their aggregation and precipitation. 2. It prevents scaling through chemical reactions; it interrupts the polymerization reactions that lead to scaling by forming inert molecules (i.e., saturated free radicals), thereby stopping the chain reaction. It also protects the metal surfaces of the oil slurry heat exchanger tubes, enhancing their corrosion resistance. 3. It not only prevents scaling but also removes existing scale. Within the normal operating temperature range at the bottom of the distillation column, it effectively suppresses the formation of scale and the attachment of precipitates. It has no adverse effect on the distribution of catalytic cracking reaction products, allowing the equipment and pipelines in the oil slurry system to operate smoothly over extended periods. This helps reduce energy consumption and improves the operational efficiency of the plant as well as the economic benefits of the refinery.
