RT. The PID drawings provided by compressor manufacturers include oil circuit diagrams, gas circuit diagrams, dry gas seal diagrams, and more. Personally, I don’t think it holds much meaning; I’m not sure what others think
Generally, HAZOP analysis is not conducted on complete sets of equipment because the team lacks expertise in this area.
There is no need for analysis, especially for compressors, as they represent mature, complete technologies. Moreover, interlocks are usually in place for the oil systems and seals, and safety has been fully taken into account in the design.
We don’t specialize in HAZOP, but when conducting HAZOP analyses, we focus on analyzing the interfaces between complete sets of equipment and process pipelines； Our company has a specialized method for evaluating risks associated with equipment ； But it’s not mainly related to the manufacturing process; it’s primarily about issues related to harm to personnel ；
Our company conducts PHA on the Vendor Package, but it is usually not assigned a Priority 1 status; first, the overall process flow is analyzed as part of the CIP requirements, and then the vendor-related aspects can be addressed
We will not conduct further analysis on the PID diagrams of the complete set of equipment.
You might as well have the supplier provide the FMEA directly.
