Recently, we received a notice from the environmental protection agency requiring corrective actions: the VOC levels in the company’s wastewater tanks and certain open storage tanks have reached 230 mg/M3, and we need to take action to address this issue; I wonder if any of you have encountered this problem ; How can it be improved in a more reasonable way ;

Use a gas collection hood to gather the gas, and then decide whether to recover it or decompose it based on the complexity of its composition. Generally, the volume of exhaust gas from sewage tanks is not large, so the investment required is not high; in such cases, decomposition is the better option. Both photocatalysis and low-temperature plasma technology can be used to solve this issue
Can the collected waste gas be treated by directly feeding it into the sewer treatment tank?
