The breathing valve itself is a low-pressure product, and sealing for low-pressure products represents a major technical challenge. Imported products can maintain pressure at 90% of the set value before leaking, while domestic products generally start to leak at 50% of the set value. (Though most are not targeted at any specific manufacturer,) seals also come in various forms: “metal to metal,” “metal to non-metal,” and “non-metal to non-metal.” Each of these has different manufacturing processes and structural designs. Therefore, the original poster should still ask a professional manufacturer to analyze the existing equipment, and then develop a remediation plan based on the analysis results.
The breathing valve itself has leakage issues, which mainly stem from the selection process and quality control. Another option is to change it to an internal floating disk.
The internal floating disk can help alleviate the issue, but if a nitrogen seal is in place, nitrogen will still be lost. The main issue still lies with the breather valve.
