The news says that Japan and Saudi Arabia already have crude oil storage tanks with a capacity of 200,000 cubic meters each. Some people say that the South Third Oil Depot in Daqing also has a capacity of 200,000 cubic meters, but I think the maximum capacity is actually only 150,000 cubic meters. Exactly, what is the maximum capacity in thousands of cubic meters that our **large storage tanks have ever reached?
In China, floating roof tanks with a capacity of 150,000 cubic meters were built as early as six or seven years ago. Since no work in this area has been carried out recently, it’s not clear whether such tanks with a capacity of 200,000 cubic meters exist in China… Given this timeline, foreign technology has already advanced to the level of 200,000 cubic meters; if China is unable to develop such technology on its own, it might be in discussions about introducing foreign technology: lol
For a floating roof tank with a capacity of 150,000 cubic meters, the steel plate specifications are: 100X3000X40; Domestically, Wuhan Iron and Steel Group and Baoshan Iron and Steel Group have the manufacturing capacity. Manufacturing steel plates for a 200,000-cubic-meter floating roof tank requires greater capabilities in terms of plate width and thickness; given the downturn in the steel industry in recent years, I haven’t really heard of such things

The LNG storage tank in Rudong, Jiangsu, has a capacity of 160,000 cubic meters. I’m not sure if you’re referring to this one or another one
