Is the zero output of the sensor different each time? Are they different for each sensor? For example, if I have two PT100 sensors of the same specification in my system, can I swap the connectors of these two PT100 sensors? Will it affect the measurement accuracy of my system?
What does it mean to swap the two thermal resistors around? Are you saying that the temperature values displayed by these two thermal resistors on the DCS are different? The thermal resistor can be calibrated, or it could be a problem with the device being measured; temperatures at different locations are definitely not the same
I mean, these two thermistors were calibrated before. I’m now swapping the aviation connectors of the two. It’s the position that was measured before using A to measure B. Does that mean the measurement results are inaccurate? Since the zero calibration was performed using button B earlier, and now the connector is connected to A, does it need to be recalibrated?
Strictly speaking, once a circuit has passed calibration, none of its components can be replaced arbitrarily, as this could affect the circuit’s accuracy; however, in practical applications, the errors that arise from swapping devices that have passed individual testing are considered acceptable.
Strictly speaking, they are all different, but they are within the acceptable error range and thus qualify; sensors that are identical and properly calibrated can be interchanged.
