I have a Unicom subscription card with a minimum monthly cost of 85 yuan; it provides 300 minutes of talk time and 1 GB of data per month. A 50 MB broadband connection along with a network set-top box are included as well. I have to buy the optical modem myself. Cable TV is hardly useful these days – it’s completely pointless. Now, I can use up almost all my call minutes each month, and there’s no issue with data usage; I think it’s quite good.

Although it’s not appropriate to say this here, I would like to say that it’s not a matter of money; it’s sufficient to choose the right service provider and the right bandwidth.

As long as the internet works well, that’s fine. The mobile service I used before wasn’t good, and switching to China Telecom was too expensive

It seems that China Unicom is more reliable for broadband when it comes to internet speed. . .
