Basic Plan for Diesel Blending I. Raw materials that can be used for diesel blending – Primary streams, secondary streams, tertiary streams; refined light streams; hydrogenation refining (diesel) additives; 200#, 280#, 260#; catalytic diesel; refined light wax oil from small refineries, etc. II. Methods of diesel blending: 1. By using regular diesel plus 15#–0# diesel, along with additives (dew point depressants, blending agents) and 200#, 280#, aviation fuel, etc., it is possible to produce 0#, -10#, -20# diesel as well as 25# diesel. 2. Diesel grades -15, -20#, and -35# are produced by using catalytic diesel along with additives (blending agents, cetane number improvers, brighteners, antioxidants, etc.) as well as 200#, 280#, aviation fuel, and hydrogenated heavy aromatics; these grades are generally used in vehicles that meet National Standard II requirements. 3. -15#, -25# and -35# diesel are formulated using light paraffin oil along with additives (blending agents, cetane number improvers, refined aromatics, brighteners, antioxidants, etc.) and 200# and 280# aviation kerosene; these types of diesel are generally used in vehicles that meet National Standard II and National Standard III requirements. 4. By using regular grade 1 oil, regular grade 2 oil, regular grade 3 oil along with additives (blending agents, cetane number boosters) and hydrogenation refining blending agents, it is possible to produce national standard diesel of grades +5#, 0#, and -10#. 5. By using refined base oil along with additives (blending agents, cetane boosters) and 200# and 280# kerosene, it is possible to produce non-standard diesel fuels with cetane ratings of +10#, +5#, 0#, or -10#. 6. Use Changchai refined fuel with additives (blending agents), along with 200# and 280# kerosene; it can also be adjusted to meet domestic standards of +10#, +5#, 0#, or -10#. The diesel is suitable for use in vehicles meeting National Standard III and National Standard II requirements. 7. After refining with light oil, additives (blending agents, deodorants) as well as 200#, 280#, kerosene, etc., can be used to formulate +5#, 0#,
