Dear colleagues, my company cleans its stripping towers once a year, and the trays become severely clogged. Is there any way to improve this situation? How are your stripping towers performing?
Our operation performance is not good either, mainly due to the impact of coking, but it can generally operate for 1.5 to 2.5 years. For this purpose, we have two stripping towers that can be switched between operation and maintenance.
Generally, we handle it once a year; sometimes it keeps operating with defects until the end of the year.
So do you have any measures? Could you take a look and see how it can be improved?
Your main problems are also clogging due to coke dust and oil; are there any corrosion issues? Is there any way to solve this?
Try adding a raw water filter
