How to select and calculate current and voltage for various welding methods

When performing welding, there are welding parameters that need to be selected, and choosing the current and voltage can be confusing; I currently rely on the values suggested by others based on their previous experience. But none of them can be calculated? For example, the calculation formulas for current and voltage in TIG welding, the calculation formulas for current and voltage in SMAW welding, and the calculation formulas for current and voltage in SAW welding? Seeking advice!
Review your organization’s welding procedure qualification; determine parameters such as welding current and voltage based on the PQR procedure qualification report and PWPS, and prepare a welding procedure card.
