As the title says. The company is a manufacturer of active pharmaceutical ingredient intermediates, and the power distribution room needs to be fitted with bird-proof mesh. As for the type of mesh to use, is hot-dip galvanized mesh better or stainless steel mesh? The price difference between the two is around 3 times. The quantity is not large. If it’s to be fixed, should I use stainless steel strip or hot-dip galvanized strip? Please give me some advice, experts. Thank you

It depends on what your budget is； If you have the money, use stainless steel – it’s beautiful and durable ； If there’s no money for hot-dip galvanizing, it’s still possible to achieve the desired level of performance ； Other factors to consider include: if it is by the sea, or if there is severe acid rain in the surrounding area, then stainless steel should be chosen ；
Recommendation: Apply fluorocarbon anti-corrosion coating to the wire mesh; it might be cheaper than stainless steel, has a longer service life, and is most importantly resistant to corrosion by chemicals in the air

Well, yes. After all, it’s only for keeping birds away. There are also many spice factories near our company, so the air there definitely contains chemical substances; it seems that galvanizing offers better value for money. Doing the repairs ourselves, with labor costs plus materials, is a fairly reasonable approach.
It’s a good method, but we don’t do anything of this kind in our attachments – it’s rather troublesome and time-consuming, so we’re not considering it.
