Everyone has joined the mutual assistance group, so how can it be utilized to help forum members make better use of the resources available on the HaiChuan Chemicals Forum? My suggestion is that HaiChuan use its backend to track the information that HaiYous follow. You must manually select 1 to 5 items, after which the system will promptly send relevant discussion questions. I have discussed such proposals with the site administrator before; the idea is that Hachuan users can customize 1–5 discussion topics (that is, the subjects they are interested in participating in). This setting should be required for new users during registration, while existing users can add more topics later on. Once set up, the Haichuan system automatically pushes relevant topic posts to a certain location on the homepage at regular intervals (an automatic reminder was intended, but this would place too much strain on the servers). Later, it was decided that the base value was too large and the servers would likely not be able to handle it, so the idea was dropped. There are many people who care about this, and suggestions have been put forward. I’d like to share my personal opinion: if possible, grant these setting permissions to the current members of the technical team first. Those who work in technology are very busy; they only come to Haichuan occasionally and reply to topics they are familiar with. Over time, however, many posts get lost in the noise. Having such a setting as a reminder should help solve this problem. The technical team is not large, so there won’t be high server load. (Later on, it can be gradually expanded to more user groups based on operational performance.) Only when the forum is running properly and users can browse and participate quickly can some practical plugins be added; otherwise, it’s all pointless.
