Besides detecting the oxygen concentration in hydrogen directly, are there any other methods—such as directly examining the structure of the catalyst—to evaluate its activity? ? Usually, when evaluating a catalyst’s activity, we just conduct experiments to check its deoxygenation efficiency. But I want to assess it based on the catalyst’s structure; I wonder if anyone here has experience in this area? It feels like something a graduate student would do~~
You can find a book to get an overview first; currently, in universities there are those who specialize in catalyst characterization, and indeed it is mostly graduate students who do this work. The instruments are all quite sophisticated.
