Every year, relevant organizations organize training courses and examinations; for example, the Petroleum and Chemical Engineering Survey and Design Association offers a one-week training course followed by an examination. What I would like to ask is whether it’s possible to register for the courses and exams under an individual’s name. I noticed that when registering, there is a form titled “Explanation of the situation regarding the application for a special equipment design license (pressure pipelines) by this entity”. Can I just write whatever content in that form? Will the certificate issued after the exam include the name of the organization? I mean, is the certificate issued after the exam related to the employer?
It has nothing to do with your employer; you can go directly to the Petrochemical Survey and Design Association for inquiries regarding registration. The schedule for the exams is available on their official website. However, it’s not very meaningful to apply, as candidates usually pass easily. **You might consider it for the registered exam.
