Is it feasible to modify and produce anionic PAM using non-ionic PAM?

We use anionic polyacrylamide ourselves. I want to buy non-ionic PAM and then modify it myself to produce anionic PAM. Do you think this is feasible? What equipment is needed?
Yes, it belongs to the macromolecule modification method, but it’s not used very often! NaOH can also be added to modify PAM.
The process is simple; doing this results in low added value, so there’s not much point in it
Using it myself, how about skipping the final drying and granulation steps? Will there be any problems storing liquid products?
