Hello everyone, I have a question regarding the reporting requirements for pressure vessels and pressure pipelines: We hired a company with GC1 certification to install a small device in our laboratory. In their detailed quote, the cost associated with reporting these pressure vessels and pipelines amounted to 40,000. Do you think this is too much? I looked for the relevant fee details at the Shanghai Special Inspection Institute. Our pressure vessel is relatively small, with a volume of 150 L and a design pressure of 17.13 MPa; it seems to cost only a few thousand yuan? As for pressure pipes, ours are DN40 in size (actually, according to the new regulations, there’s no need to submit them for inspection?) ), the total length is only 71m. What are the items included in the inspection requirements for pressure pipelines? I saw a document titled \"Charges for Inspection of Maintenance and Renovation of Pressure Pipelines\" and another titled \"Charges for Regular Inspection of Pressure Pipelines\". I’m not sure how these inspection fees are calculated Could someone who is aware of the situation please help explain it? Thank you. Coordinates: Shanghai
Notification is required for the installation of pressure vessels, but no supervision or inspection is necessary. For DN40 pressure pipelines, no notification is needed, nor is any supervision or inspection required. Could 40,000 be the installation cost?
