Moreover, it is also necessary to control the volume of flow, so the accuracy cannot be too poor. Since you didn’t specify information such as flow rate or pipe diameter, and only asked what type of flow meter to choose, I assume you are looking to select the category of flow meters... My personal recommendations are as follows: For high-precision measurement: mass flow meters (such as High Accuracy, KROHN, E+H, etc.). For moderate-precision measurement: turbine flow meters (there are too many manufacturers of these, so I don’t recommend them); electromagnetic flow meters (KROHN, E+H, etc.). For low-precision measurement: metal rotor flow meters (KROHN, etc.). It is also crucial to choose the appropriate installation method, as you need to consider whether you are installing the flow meter in new pipelines or adding it to existing ones.
First and foremost, mass flow meters. The best mass flow meters are Emerson’s HighSense Micmotion mass flow meters

Yokogawa’s vortex flowmeter – it has a precision of 1% when measuring liquids. Using Yokogawa’s mass flowmeter would be too expensive.

Since it’s 70% ethanol, I’m imagining an ethanol-water solution; a 75% ethanol-water solution should work fine. As for organic ethanol solutions, it’s definitely impossible to make measurements with them... I saw the vortex flow meter recommended by Brother Tianze, and I actually thought of using a vortex flow meter as well, but... I’ve used vortex flow meters to measure methanol before, and the readings were always inaccurate. Later on, I realized that in places like factories, aside from measuring steam, vortex flow meters are not reliable at all – I don’t recommend them!
I suddenly remembered that I have also used vortex flow meters to measure ethanol, 98%+ pure ethanol, but the results were not very good. Mass flow meters are too expensive; in my opinion, turbines are a more cost-effective option for measuring ethanol flow rates… If you have the money, go with mass flow meters – they’re reliable!
