In a certain company, work ends at 5:30, but managers often assign tasks at 5:20. Later, the leader said that in order to integrate with everyone as quickly as possible, you shouldn’t leave. If your boss constantly tells you or implies that you need to work overtime, would you do it? Pro side: Add it; if the boss says to add it, then we add it~ Con side: No need to add it; there’s no overtime pay and no work to do, so why add it? Everyone, feel free to share your opinions~~~
Since the boss assigns tasks, we have to carry them out whether we like it or not; after all, we are employees...
Add it; there’s no other choice for vulnerable groups. . .
Working overtime, working for others and under their control
Deep down, I am against working overtime, unless the work is extremely urgent and requires special handling. Working overtime just to work overtime is complete waste of time. But my boss likes to work overtime. If you don’t care what your boss thinks and it doesn’t matter whether you stay or not, then fine, no need to add it ; If you rely on this job to make a living, then follow your supervisor’s instructions. Here’s a message for you (it’s true): You work overtime frequently – does that mean you lack working ability? And it wastes the company’s resources ; You don’t come in for overtime, your work attitude is problematic, and you lack a sense of team honor. . .
I really think this phenomenon is just a matter of habit! In such urgent situations, whether or not there will be overtime pay doesn’t matter – those in charge will work overtime voluntarily. On the other hand, as a leader, when you see everyone working overtime voluntarily for the project, have you considered paying them overtime? There’s no work to do; the boss implies that I need to work overtime. For countless days, I’ve tried to suggest to my boss that he raise my salary, but all I get in return is him acting like he doesn’t understand, talking about values, the working environment, and development... There’s no interaction at all. Without rules, it’s just bullying. Love isn’t something you can buy just because you want to! We have to help each other. What we see is that employees pretend to work overtime to please their managers; when one or two such employees exploit others who are unwilling to waste time on such pretentious overtime, what do they gain in return? Leaders, taking it for granted and unwilling to understand the hints, become examples of those who work overtime as negative role models. I ask, can time-consuming efforts that are inefficient and unproductive lead to a win-win situation? It can only satisfy certain abnormal psychological needs. In my opinion, even in a society based on official hierarchy, there exist corporate management practices that focus on efficiency. Like attracts like; those who spend time pretending to be something else end up among similar people, and they too will be eliminated by society. Those who make efficient use of their time will find their own suitable environment.
If there’s no problem for the individual, they can work extra hours~~
Plus, this is in China – it’s normal to work overtime when there is work to be done; as for working overtime when there’s no work, it depends on the attitude
Working overtime, as it’s all urgent projects; it would be awkward not to work.
What are the consequences of forcing it to be added?~~
