Should the distance be indicated as that from the circle where the head meets the nozzle (which appears as a horizontal line in the front view) to the flange sealing surface, or as that from a fixed point on the imaginary ellipse of the head, which no longer exists, to the flange sealing surface? Which one is more reasonable?
Mark it at the weld on the straight section from the flange surface to the bottom of the head, okay?
Generally, it is sufficient to indicate the distance from the head reference line to the sealing surface of the pipe flange.

Generally, the flange sealing surface is marked to the vertex of the imaginary head.
