I’m not sure if the original poster made a mistake in their description; the high-level tank for power waves is not used under normal circumstances, and it is only in emergency situations that the pipeline connecting the high-level tank to the power waves comes into use. Generally, a power wave high-level tank is used to store clean water for backup, and it is controlled by check valves or electric interlock valves, so scaling does not occur frequently.
It involves pumping the liquid to the clear liquid tank; from there, it is pumped by a clear liquid pump to the high-level tank. Then it moves again, the overflow weir cools it down, and afterward the liquid returns to the first-stage power wave, thus completing the cycle. However, there is severe scaling in the first-stage acid pipeline, while in the packed tower it is mild for the second stage.
Analyze the concentrations of impurities such as calcium and magnesium ions; scaling occurs as soon as dilute acid pipes are in use, and the slow flow rate from the high-level tank to the overflow weir makes scaling more likely.

Analysis: In actual production, the dilute acid contains a high level of fluorine, so water glass is used to remove it. After installing a backwash device, the reverse spray nozzles should be shortened appropriately. The liquid supply pressure to the nozzles should also be reduced to lower the gas-phase resistance. Nozzles with a large orifice size should be used, as this reduces the amount of waste material discharged. The solid content in the circulating fluid can reach 20% without causing blockages.
