To be precise, the term COUPON here should be translated as Yin Bao inspection strip, using its full name CP COUPON. The biggest difference between it and ordinary test pieces is that it is equipped with a well-insulated metal wiring rod that runs from inside the ground up to the surface, for use in testing cathodic protection.
